The captivated bushing design developed over two decades ago for GM is now available to the weekend and professional racer. The Morel solid bushing and axle design uses a steel alloy developed in Europe for the aerospace industry. Featuring tool steel alloy axles and a proprietary bearing material , these lifters have an increase in load capacity nearly 40% greater when compared to the normal needle bearing design. The higher load capacity is absolutely required for the more aggressive camshaft profiles and higher spring rates used today. These "UFRS" lifters can also be used in all forms of motorsports.
